Brian Mckay, MathWorks

Do you use hardware data from your components to ensure models accurately represent your system?

How do you emulate the operating environment to fully test your system before deployment?

Discover how you can save money streamlining your design and testing process by using one set of tools to make the development cycle more efficient and effective.

In this webinar, Sam Mirsky will show you how to use the Simulink environment to:

• Model your system components
• Create a test harness that is also used to test hardware
• Qualify models with data from hardware
• Use qualified component models to design your system
• Evaluate system design with hardware-in-the-loop testing

About the Presenter: As an application engineer at MathWorks, Sam Mirsky travels worldwide to speak at conferences and workshops, sharing his deep knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink, and helping engineers get the most from the software. Sam has nearly 15 years of experience in the defense industry, where he was involved in hardware-in-the-loop testing of advanced electro-optical and infrared guidance systems. Sam holds degrees in aerospace engineering from Syracuse University and Georgia Institute of Technology. When he’s not working with users, Sam is usually out flying small aircraft or geocaching.
