Cpp.CatchClause Class
Namespace: Cpp
Superclasses: AstNodeProperties
Represents the catch_clause nodes in the syntax tree of your code
Since R2026a
Description
CatchClause class represents the C++ syntax node catch_clause in your code and contains predicates to query properties and children of this node.
Predicates
| Type | Raisable | Printable |
|---|---|---|
CatchClause
| Yes | No |
This class defines these predicates that act on the objects of this class. In addition, objects of this class can access the predicates defined by the base class AstNodeProperties. An object of this class is an object of AstNodeProperties class.
| Predicates | Description |
|---|---|
is(required CatchClause &catchClause) |
Finds syntax nodes of the type CatchClause in your C++ code and returns them as
catchClause. For example, in
catch (const std::exception& e) { bar(); }, this predicate matches the catch clause node.
|
isa(Cpp.Node.Node node) |
Checks if node is a CatchClause. Use this relation if you want to negate
the condition (for example: not Cpp.CatchClause.isa(n)).
|
cast(Cpp.Node.Node node, required CatchClause &cast) |
Finds syntax nodes of the type CatchClause from the nodes in node.
Retrieval occurs if node is compatible with the CatchClause type.
Use this relation if you need further CatchClause properties.
|
parameters(CatchClause self, Cpp.Node.Node &child) |
Matches the parameter list of the catch clause. For example, in
catch (const std::exception& e) { ... }, this predicate matches
(const std::exception& e).
|
body(CatchClause self, Cpp.Node.Node &child) |
Matches the body of the catch clause. For example, in
catch (...) { bar(); }, this predicate matches { bar(); }.
|
isEnclosedInCatchClause(Cpp.Node.Node child) |
Checks if child appears inside a CatchClause.
|
getEnclosingCatchClause(Cpp.Node.Node child, required CatchClause &parent) |
Finds the nearest enclosing CatchClause ancestor of child and returns it
as parent.
