Convert OPC UA data object array to uint8 matrix

Syntax

vUint8 = uint8(dObj)

Description

vUint8 = uint8(dObj) converts the OPC UA data object array dObj into a uint8 matrix.

dObj must have the same time stamps for each of the nodes (elements of dObj), otherwise an error is generated. Use tsunion, tsintersect, or resample to generate an OPC UA data object containing the same time stamp for all nodes in the object.

Examples

Convert OPC UA Data to uint8 Matrix

Load the OPC UA example data file, convert the uaDataVis object to have the same time stamps, and create a uint8 matrix from the result.

load opcSampleUaData;
dUnion = tsunion(uaDataVis);
vUint8 = uint8(dUnion);

Input Arguments

dObj — OPC UA data

OPC UA data object array

OPC UA data, specified as an OPC UA data object array. For more information, see Data.

Output Arguments

vUint8 — OPC UA data values

uint8 matrix

OPC UA data values, returned as a uint8 matrix. vUint8 is constructed as an M-by-N matrix of uint8 values, where M is the number of data values in dObj and N is the number of nodes in the array.
