What To Do After Installation

After you have successfully installed the support package, you can do any of the following:

• Explore and experiment with the Support Package for RTL-SDR Radio Featured Examples.

  • Examine radio waves in your vicinity using Spectrum Analysis of Signals.

  • Track airplanes, using Airplane Tracking Using ADS-B Signals in Simulink.

  • Make a standalone FM receiver using Raspberry Pi^® with FM Reception with RTL-SDR Radio on Raspberry Pi Hardware with Simulink.

• Check out the Radio Management topics. These topics explain how to create blocks and System objects, and how to adjust radio settings.

• Tweak your design’s performance with Performance optimizations.

Each time you use the Communications Toolbox™ Support Package for RTL-SDR Radio with MATLAB^®, call the function sdrsetup. This function performs certain behind-the-scenes operations so that you can use this support package cleanly every time.
