Problems with Linux RHEL 6.5 installation Matlab 2012a Student edition

I downloaded the software to my 64 bit Red Hat RHEL 6.5 . The installation with IceTea . The installation looks ok. But I do not see any GUI icon . I go to termnal and tried ./ Matlab but nothing happens.
I have no idea how to run Matlab
