Here are a few tips to have MATLAB ready more quickly:
- Is it possible to make MATLAB start up faster if I launch without the MATLAB Desktop?
- Why does MATLAB R12 launch slowly?
- Why does MATLAB take a long time to start up?
They were written for a previous version, but should work as well for R2013a.
