Is there a way to retain data in root locus and bode plots when saving?

When using hgsave the stability margin, damping, OS% and other background information is not retained. Is there a way to retain this information when saving? (using Matlab 2012b)

Currently there is not a way to retain this information when saving the root locus or bode plot. There is an open enhancement request to address this issue.
