How to publish html in matlabcentral?

I write formatted code by matlab editor and publish it as html document by "publish", how can this document be displayed in "matlabcentral"? For example, like this1, like this2

How is these links done? That is, I already have the html file, what if I publish it to matlabcentral for display?

This can be done when you upload a submission to File Exchange (aka. FEX). You will need to:

• publish your M-file to HTML using the PUBLISH command (or button). This generates a folder "html".
• zip together the following:
• 1. the M-file,
• 2. the "html" folder,
• 3. optional: any other files and folders for that submission.
• upload the ZIP file to FEX.

If you do not include both the M-file and the "html" folder then it will not work. Do not change the filenames.

Note that multiple HTML files (and their associated images) can be included in the "html" folder!

Tip: download any FEX submssion with HTML examples and unzip it to see the "html" folder.

No, you did not.

I wrote that you need to include the folder "html". Instead of doing that you zipped some files together.

You also need to include the original Mfile that was published to create the HTML folder.

I strongly recommend that you download and look at any FEX submission that has HTML examples.

The HTML file that you linked to does not have any "external links": no hyperlinks or links to any other documents.

When I open that FEX submission:

and click on the "Examples" tab then it shows a list of all HTML files included in that submission (in this case, just one):

Note how it also clearly gives the "html" folder location of the HTML files within the ZIP file!

You can simply right-click on any HTML hyperlink and open in a new tab: that will give you the HTML by itself on a new tab of your browser, which might be (as far as I can guess) the "effect" you are asking about.

An HTML file just a text file of a document (e.g. the one that you published). In general it is not a link to MATLAB's website (unless you have explicitly added such links youself).

You can view the downloaded HTML file with any app that interprets HTML (e.g. any web browser, including the one in MATLAB), just like you can with any other HTML file.

It is not clear to me what you expect by "external links".

Your term "matlabcentral" is ambiguous. "Matlab Central" comprises Answers, File Exchange, Cody and Blogs. AFAIK: The MathWorks doesn't provide a shared way to upload and link to files. 10+ years ago it was common to upload files into the cloud and link to these in Answers. Typically, these files disappeared after a year and the Answer page showed error messages.
