make matlab stop waiting for system return

I want to run a program (putty) to make a ssh connection. I do this by e.g.

   system('putty -load Terrameter -l root -pw root');

Now Matlab is waiting for the command prompt to close. But I want Matlab to continue its code and not wait for a return from putty. I need to keep this prompt open while I continue my matlab code.

How is this possible?

no, but thanks anyway. I fixed it by calling a bat-file instead :D
