cannot use matlab 2014b in Ubuntu 14.04, stays with start window.

Hi,

I just installed Matlab 2014b in my Ubuntu 14.04. It was successfully installed and activated, but there is a problem when using it.

When I type 'matlab' in command window, the start window of matlab appears but never proceed. The situation can be seen in the attached image.

Matlab stays in this status and then crashes.

Anyone also facing this problem? Can you provide solutions?

The trick is

sudo chown username -R ~/.matlab
