If M1, gamma and theta are known, you can use the first equation to calculate beta. But you say you want to reach a given M2 by changing beta. You can't have both.
So again my question: what is given, what is unknown ?

Can you at least put a little bit more of finger efforts in typing out the three equations using the following?
Then, we can probably help you to compute the oblique shock angles. By the way, since you didn't mention what oblique shock angles, it is very natural for me to assume that those associated with the trigonometric functions are the angles. Also, where should I put 3.1 (I mean the Mach number)?
tan()
theta
cot()
beta
M1
^2
sin()
cos()
gamma
()/()
p1
p2
M2
sqrt
