Error 8. License checkout failed

Hi!

I am trying to set up Matlab R2013b. I set up license server in the same machine, I have one copy of Matlab program, but somehow cannot start it up.

Host name in license.dat file is resolvable- I can ping it. And I have also tried to change default port from 27000 to 27010 nad replaced hostname with IP-address.

Did you search for an answer first? Error 8 is not a problem with contacting the license server; it is probably a faulty license.dat file. See http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/100496-why-do-i-get-license-manager-error-8 .
