How can we distinguish between PPP(Poisson Point Process), PHP(Poisson Hole Process), and Matern Hard-core Process ?

Stochastic geometry is the best area for analysis in wireless network scenarios. Any heterogeneous network model may be represented as point process where nodes are independent. Can anybody justify the significance of these processes (PPP, PHP, and MHCP).
