R2016a Why my title don't centralize?

Hi,

I started using the matlab R2016a recently and the title of my figures are not getting centralized. How can I fix this?

Are you just using title() ? Are you telling title() to use Interpreter tex or latex? Does your title contain sequences you would like to be interpreted as tex or latex, or as subscripts or superscripts ?

My command is:

title(['MAE Salinidade do ' exp_title_ROMS{index} ' - mean = ' sprintf('%0.2f',(nanmean(nanmean(mae_mean_roms.salt.(exp{index}))))) '']);

and saved with:

export_fig(['~/ROTINAS/MATLAB/MAE/figuras/MAE_SALT_' exp_title_ROMS{index} '.eps'], '-depsc','-dEPSCrop','-noinvert');

I seem to recall that R2016a had problems with title size and position when exporting to pdf, but when I search around I cannot find any postings about that, so I might be thinking of a different release.

In the meantime, try setting a fontname for the title; also experiment with a shorter title to see if the same bug arises.
