MATLAB 2011a 32 bit on XP + MSVC 2008 express edition compiler

Hello guys,

I am using Matlab 32 bit R2011a on a 32 bit xp machine. Now, i installed the msvc express edition 2008 with service pack 1.

Now when i do mex -setup, it does not recognize the compiler. Do i need to install anything else?

R2011a supports Visual C++ Express 2010, not 2008. See:
