i can not launch matlab

I would like to ask for your help please. every time i want to launch Matlab I receive the following error ============================================================ License checkout failed. License Manager Error -9 Your username does not match the username in the license file. To run MATLAB on this computer, you must run the Activation client to reactivate your license.

hi i have solved this issue by using whoami to see the username of the laptop and then reactivate matlab and set the log in name as the username.
