Why my MATLAB R2019a keeps busy status?

Hello, my matlab just fails to do any calculation with its status alway "busy" like this, and I can't figure out why. My matlab is a genuine one. Looking forwards to your help, thx!

P.S. I once uninstalled my MATLAB 2017 once for the 2019 version, but it was too large, so I reinstall the 2017 version, and this is what happening now. Ctrl+C just doesn't work and CPU doesn't seem to be occupied

Please mention any details: Did it run before? What did you change directly before this behavior started? Where does Matlab stop when you press Ctrl-C? Does this behavior occur directly after starting Matlab? Is the memory exhausted and the usage of virtual RAM let the harddisk run at its limits? Is the CPU loaded or waiting?

I have the same issue. After I close my AppDesigner app using delete(app), Matlab is stuck in busy mode. Ctrl-C doesn't do anything. RAM is not exhausted and it happens on two different computers if I run the respective code. The exact same code used to work before. Does anyone have an idea?
