highlight row from gui table

hi, guys,

I have a Listbox and have a table that when I want to select one of Data(1 2 3 4) from Listbox, show us the same row in the table with a highlight color or Enable properties

What does that mean, "it doesn't work"? Do you receive an error message? Could you supply a minimal working example that reproduces the problem?

My guess is that by "it doesn't work" @Emir meant the following from the comments in both threads linked above:

"Note that this method does not work in app designer UI tables."

Assuming this is in appdesigner.

You can set a "ValueChangedFcn" on the uilistbox.

The above function can be something like this.

Please note the names maybe different for you. Assume the names are ListBox and UITable.

function ListBoxValueChanged(app, event)
            value = app.ListBox.Value; 
            % If the value is char or string convert to numeric
            value = str2double(value);
            removeStyle(app.UITable); % remove all previous highlights
            s1 = uistyle;
            s1.BackgroundColor = 'yellow';
            % you can also change font color size e.t.c
            addStyle(app.UITable,s1,'row',value); % add the highlight
end

The image the OP shared appears to be a GUIDE gui. The grid in AppDesigner is much finer. See comparison below (left: guide, right: appdesigner).

@Adam, the tags also state this is about GUIDE, although the reputation required to add tags is not very high, so they might have been added by someone else.

I think anyone can add tags to their own question, can't they? I often add tags so who knows who added it :D

Anyone can add tags to their own question, from 5 reputation you can add tags to other questions, and from 50 you can remove tags. So my point stays the same: it's probably GUIDE, although this can only be confirmed or denied by Emir az.
