Measure vertical distance using loop function

Hi

Can any one help me to find the vertical distance using loop function between the red points and the polygon at surface 1 and surface 2. The coordinates of red points are known but i could not find the other points which are must be located on surface 1 and surface 2 and should make vertical lines with the red points.

You cannot find that distance(s) because the location of the "kink" between surface 1 and 2 is not specified. If it were moved left or right, that would affect the answer. Since you don't know it, you can't get a numerical answer unless you specify it, either as a number or a variable.
