Can I use histfit and add a specified type of Bin in it? I want to take my data and add bins with the array [0:2:100], however it won't let me. More specifically I am trying to obtain a bell curve over my histogram and don't know how to go about this

What's wrong w/
histfit(randn(1000,1))
which generated

Dunno what that means... histfit| does it for you.
See another thread from not too long ago to put a pdf on top empirical data if that's the question (don't get sidetracked in the sidebar discussion of what the OPs data are, just note the code)
