Cannot progress in Simulink Onramp due to assessment block issues

Hi
i cant seem to be able to progress past task 3 in excerise 2.2 due to an issue with the model assessment block appearing. any issues/fixes for this?

Follow this step to get rid of this error.
just click in the middle of the line after that sum block and on double click there will be edited text just write error there and submit!

solution -- double click the line between step block to sum block and edit the line name to reference and give enter.

The solution is to rename the connection between the step block and the sum object (looks like a voltage source circuit symbol) as "reference." You can see an example of this by clicking the "see solution" link beside the submit button.

In my opinion, you have pressed the enter key after you typed the name "desired speed" for the step block. The last two lines of the question specifies that pressing enter key will create a carriage return.

Hi,
I am now experiencing the same issue with this part of the course. My question advises me to press the enter key following entering "desired speed". Any advice on how to progress beyond this would be thoroughly appreciated.

Please make sure the block has been selected (blue circle supposed to be around the block) after renaming it.

just double click on reference and rewrite it as it was before
