Hi guys, I have a problem with the master thesis in engineering, I have to develop the electric model of a battery; on simulink it is already implemented (it is present in versions from 2009 onwards), it leaves writing "battery" in the help. The professor then asked me to understand how this model is implemented. Therefore I do "show under mask" on the block of the battery, and then I click twice on the block Model continuous .. But believe me, it is a tangle of wires .. and despite having read something in literature on electric batteries I can not understand how it has implemented the equations ... some of you more practical than me could explain me it piece by piece and the equations used? I shall be eternally grateful! Let me know soon please ... Dr. Nello Rosano

This is being answerd as part of a Simscape Electrical Matlab Answers cleanup. I apologize for this being too late to be useful for you.
The simulink under the hood implements directly the equations in the help document. The biggest issue is an understanding of simulink in order to understand how this is implemented. It is like trying to read a programming language that you are not familiar with.
To get familiear enough with Simulink in order to understand this model, please start here: https://www.mathworks.com/learn/tutorials/simulink-onramp.html
This is free training.
