Unfortunately, the Mathworks does not provide such a capability so you have to use third party web sites, though it's been brought up to them several times over the past couple of years. Check out this link: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/7924-where-can-i-upload-images-and-files-for-use-on-matlab-answers If you're posting images, please pick a web site where we can see the image immediately without additional clicks.

That link doesn't talk about images. Oleg's tutorial was made before they added the image display icon. The images still have to be accessible from the web, and that can be a problem. I think you, Walter, had some rationale for why some images don't appear when you click the picture icon (maybe you can find that link). It seems like ones with https never appear and then others sometimes don't appear depending on what URL the poster used. I know some, like tinypic.com, give 4 URLs (HTML for Websites, IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards, URL for E-Mail & IM, Direct Link for Layouts) and it's confusing to know which one to use when pasting that into their Answers question. It seems there is a high failure rate on pasting the correct URL, because often they don't work.
