how to create .dat file?

Is it possible to create a single .dat file from the following data?
dataset =
2×2 cell array
{1×6 double} {1×3 double}
{1×4 double} {1×4 double}

As simple as that:
writetable(cell2table(dataset), 'Sample.dat')
