Stateflow exiting state incorrectly

I have a Stateflow model which runs correctly I have done some testing and got the functionality that I want. I have then put this into a bigger model to replace some existing "code" in one of the superstates within the model.

To do this I have erased the existing model and copied in my new code and put in a default transition and a terminator block at the end. Now when I run the complete model the part that I have changed jumps out of my new code as it hits the state of my new code.

Any ideas. I am running 2010A

It's a bit hard to determine what you are talking about from the description. Can you post a picture of the system?
