Is Matlab R2013a (student version) compatible with new Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks?

I want to upgrade to OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) but i want to make sure my Matlab student version would still work

system requirements page
-> Not supported.
Which of course does not mean "will not work". It means "may or may not work"
