Embedded Target for Renesas RA, RL78, RX Family

The Embedded Target enables the validation of algorithms, comparing between MILS and PILS environment using simulator or emulator.

Overview

The Embedded Target enables the validation of algorithms, comparing between MILS and PILS environment using simulator or emulator connecting to RA, RL78 and RX family MCU target boards.

The Embedded Target requires the license key installation. See the Setup and License sections before use.

Setup

1. Download installer of the Embedded Target from product page and install it.
2. An Renesas IDE such as the e² studio or CS+ is needed to execute PILS by the Embedded Target. Check the Embedded Target User’s Manual Chap.1.3 on product page for each Renesas IDE versions supported by the Embedded Target.
3. Download an installer of Renesas IDE from product pages of e² studio or CS+ and install it.

License

The Embedded Target needs license key for running PILS with Renesas Devices. For trying the Embedded Target, license key of evaluation version is enabled by requesting to Renesas technical support.
