Key Components:
  1. Switch (usually a transistor like MOSFET)
  2. Diode (or a synchronous rectifier in advanced designs)
  3. Inductor
  4. Capacitor
  5. Controller (PWM or other control logic)
Basic Operation:
  1. ON Phase (Switch Closed):The switch turns on, and current flows through the inductor and into the load. The inductor stores energy in its magnetic field, and the output capacitor helps maintain voltage.
  2. OFF Phase (Switch Open):The switch turns off, and the inductor maintains current flow by releasing energy through the diode to the load.
