A Ćuk Converter is a type of DC–DC converter that can step up or step down the output voltage while inverting its polarity. In a Zeta Converter, the inductor is the main energy storage component, whereas in a Ćuk Converter, the capacitor serves as the primary energy transfer element.
The converter is named after Slobodan Ćuk, who first presented this design. It provides a continuous current flow at both input and output, reduces voltage ripple, and delivers a more efficient and stable output.
