Using the Method of Compact Finite Derivative based on a paper by LELE (http://home.eps.hw.ac.uk/~ab226/tmp/implicit/Lele_92.pdf) 1st derivative of the function "u=tanh[k(x-1)] in the domain[0,5] for k=5,20 is calculated. In the Scheme 4th Order Compact Finite Difference Method for the interior points and 3rd Order finite Difference for the boundary was Implied. And later on was compared with the exact solution.
