This function was inspired by the built-in function RECTINT, which computes the intersection area of rectangles. Among other applications, RECTINT can be useful for object detection performance analysis, in which you may want to compare detected bounding boxes to ground truth bounding boxes.
In my application, I have 3D cubes that I want to compare. CUBEINT allows me to compute the intersection volume between cubes.
See the function header for additional details.
