A computer vision system which takes an uncontrolled image of a sudoku puzzles, identifies its location, reads the puzzle, and solves it.

This example was originally put together for the UK MATLAB Expo 2018, for a talk entitled Image processing and Computer Vision with MATLAB.

It is intended to demonstrate the use of a combination of deep learning and image procesing to solve a computer vision problem.

@Andy Blames: The steps required to train a model should be described in deep_sudoku_solver.mlx, if anything is not clear then feel free to ask. If you let me know what error you get i might be able to help diagnose the problem.

@fei tang: changeFilePaths is a function in computer vision toolbox from 2018b onwards, the code isn't compatible with any earlier release.

Thanks for sharing the codes. I have errors when running in Matlab 2017b. After trying to fix some of the errors, I find it needs functions in 2018b, like pixelLabelImageDatastore. Still, thanks for sharing this. Great work!
