MATLAB's S- to T- and T- to S-parameter conversion functions (s2t and t2s) only support the conversion of complex 2-by-2-by-M arrays. Software was developed that is able to convert complex M-by-N-by-P and M-by-M-by-P arrays to their respective counterpart. This works as long as M,N >= 2.

The equations in this software are derived from: J. Frei, X. D. Cai and S. Muller, "Multiport S -Parameter and T -Parameter Conversion With Symmetry Extension," in IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, vol. 56, no. 11, pp. 2493-2504, Nov. 2008.
