Get Started with Euro NCAP Test Suite
The Automated Driving Toolbox™ Test Suite for Euro NCAP® Protocols support package enables you to automatically generate a seed scenario and its variants for the safety assessment of various automated driving test applications.
You can create seed scenarios for various automated driving test applications, and then create variant scenarios by varying the scene, actor, and event parameters of the seed scenarios. Using these generated variant scenarios, you can perform exhaustive safety assessments of various automated driving applications. The support package provides examples to test these applications in accordance with European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) test protocols.
The process of generating and testing scenario variants involves these steps:
Generate Custom Seed Scenario Descriptor or Seed Scenario Descriptor for Euro NCAP Test — Generate a custom seed scenario descriptor or a seed scenario descriptor for a Euro NCAP® test.
Vary Seed Scenario Parameters and Generate Scenario Variants — Vary the seed scenario parameters, such as actor parameters and collision parameters. Then, generate scenario variants using the varied parameters.
Set Up and Configure Driving Test Bench to Simulate Scenario Variants — Set up and configure a driving test bench on which to simulate the variant scenarios.
Generate Test Report — Generate a Euro NCAP test report for the simulated scenario variants.
