— Eccentricity of ellipse
numeric scalar
Eccentricity of the ellipse, specified as a numeric scalar. The value of
ecc
must be in the range [0, 1].

Third flattening of the ellipse, returned as a numeric scalar. The output

is defined as (a–b)/(a+b), where a is the semimajor axis and
b is the semiminor axis.

function will not accept vectors or matrices as input in
a future release. To update your code, specify a numeric scalar instead.
