Read one absolute pressure data sample from LPS22HB sensor

Syntax

[pressureReading,timestamp] = readPressure(sensor)

Description

[pressureReading,timestamp] = readPressure(sensor) returns one sample of the absolute pressure data from the LPS22HB sensor. The absolute pressure sample is returned as a scalar in Pascal. The function also returns the timestamp at which MATLAB^® receives the absolute pressure data from the LPS22HB sensor. The timestamp output is optional.

Create an lps22hb sensor object on the I2C bus 'i2c-1' on address '0x5D'.

Since the timestamp output is optional, you can obtain only the absolute pressure data from the LPS22HB sensor.

Input Arguments

sensor — LPS22HB sensor object

lps22hb object

LPS22HB sensor object connection to the Raspberry Pi hardware board, specified as a lps22hb object.

Example: sensor = lps22hb(mypi) creates a connection to the LPS22HB sensor on the Raspberry Pi object mypi.

Output Arguments

pressureReading — Absolute pressure values read from LPS22HB sensor

scalar absolute pressure data

Read the absolute pressure data from the LPS22HB sensor.

timestamp — Timestamp of absolute pressure values read from LPS22HB sensor

datetime

Read the date and time at which MATLAB receives the absolute pressure sample value from the LPS22HB sensor, specified as a datetime.

• When you create an lps22hb sensor object and do not specify the I2C address in the name-value pair, the default I2C address is considered by the LPS22HB sensor. For the LPS22HB sensor, the default I2C address is '0x5C'.
