To add a block to a model, double-click the canvas and start typing the block name. Then, select the block from the list.

Description

The MMF Source block represents an ideal magnetomotive force (mmf) source that is powerful enough to maintain specified constant mmf across its output terminals, regardless of the flux flowing through the source.

You specify the output mmf by using the Constant mmf parameter. The mmf can be positive, negative, or zero.

Ports

Conserving

N — North terminal

magnetic

Magnetic conserving port associated with the north terminal.

S — South terminal

magnetic

Magnetic conserving port associated with the south terminal.

Parameters

Constant mmf — Output mmf

1 A (default) | scalar

Magnetomotive force output by the source.
