Check uniqueness of State names
Check ID:
mathworks.jmaab.jc_0730
Guideline: jc_0730: Unique state name in Stateflow® blocks
Description
Stateflow state names must be unique in charts, with the exception of atomic subcharts. Atomic subcharts are treated as different container so they can share State names with other states outside of the subchart.
Stateflow states include the following.
Atomic Subchart

Simulink State
This check requires a Simulink® Check™ and Stateflow license.
Check Parameterization
This check does not include sub-checks because the MAB modeling guideline provides only one sub ID.
For reference, the MAB guideline sub ID(s) that are recommended for use by the NA-MAAB and JMAAB modeling standards organizations are:
NA-MAAB — a

Results and Recommended Actions
Condition | Recommended Action |
---|---|
In a Stateflow chart, two or more Stateflow states have the same name. | Rename the Stateflow states so that there are no identical names in the Stateflow chart. |
