Syntax

removeForMATLAB(target_object.Instruments,instrument_object)
removeForMATLAB(target_object.Instruments,instrument_object_name)

Description

removeForMATLAB(target_object.Instruments,instrument_object) removes an instrument selected by object handle from a Target object that was for MATLAB® data.

You can remove an instrument that has been added to Target objects for MATLAB data.

  1. Create target object and connect to target computer. Open model and configure model for target computer. Build model. 

    tg = slrealtime;
connect(tg);
model = 'slrt_ex_osc';
openExample(model);
modelSTF = getSTFName(tg);
set_param(model,"SystemTargetFile",modelSTF);
slbuild(model);

  2. Create instrument object, set its Name property, and add signal from real-time application.

    tgInst = slrealtime.Instrument(model);
tgInst.Name = 'Inst';
addSignal(tgInst,'SigGen');

  3. Add an instrument to the Target object for MATLAB data.

    addForMATLAB(tg.Instruments,tgInst);

  4. Remove an instrument in the Target object for MATLAB data by using the instrument object.

    removeForMATLAB(tg.Instruments,tgInst);

  5. Or, remove an instrument in the Target object for MATLAB data by using the instrument object name.

    removeForMATLAB(tg.Instruments,'Inst');

To create the instrument object, use the Instrument function.

Example: hInst

The Name property of object that represents real-time instrument. You can create an instrument object by using the Instrument function.

Example: 'InstName'

Object that represents target computer, specified as a Target object. The object provides access to methods that manipulate the target computer properties.
