Build Real-Time Application

Real-time application building and downloading

To build a real-time application for a target computer, set the model configuration parameters to values consistent with real-time execution. For more information, see Simulink Real-Time. To select configuration parameters for the real-time application, see Simulink Real-Time Options Pane.

You can build a real-time application, connect to the target computer, deploy the real-time application, and run it by clicking Run on Target on the Simulink editor Real-Time tab. For more information, see Build and Download Real-Time Application by Using Run on Target.

You also can build a real-time application without connecting to the target computer by using the slbuild function or by clicking Run on Target > Build Application on the Simulink editor Real-Time tab.
