NI™ USRP™ radios provide GPIO connectors for interfacing with external hardware. The GPIO connector type varies by radio model. To interface your radio with external hardware, drive the GPIO signal that maps to the required connector pin.

USRP E320 Radios

The USRP E320 radio supports up to eight GPIO signals through a mini‑HDMI (type C) connector on the rear panel.

USRP N3xx or X3xx Series Radios

USRP N3xx or X3xx series radios support up to 12 GPIO signals through a DB15 connector on the front panel. The GPIO signals Data[11:0] map to GPIO pins 2 through 13.

USRP X410 Radios

The USRP X410 radio supports up to 24 GPIO signals through two HDMI (type A) connectors on the front panel, GPIO0 and GPIO1.
