Blocks for xPC - Using an NI PCIe 6321
Mostra commenti meno recenti
Dear Users,
I am currently putting together an xPC system using Matlab 2013b and would prefer to use the National Instuments PCIe 6321 data aquisition card for the project (as recommended by the NI website) but a block does not exist in the xPC library for this card. Does anyone know if the NI PCI 6221 simulink block is compatable with this card as I believe the 6321 is its direct replacement? If this is not the case then I shall have to purchase the 6221, which s unfortunate as buying a pc with a PCI slot is difficult, the world has gone PCIe!
Many Thanks, Rob

PCIe-6321 is not supported. But this is because the card belongs to NI's X series of data acquisition boards. There are several PCIe boards that are indicated as supported for xPC Target. These use the same blocks as the PCI counterparts hence no separate PCIe blocks. Perhaps you may be able to find something here:

Have there been any developments in Matlab support for the NI X series PCIe DAQ boards? It appears that xPC target still only supports Humusoft MF634 and the soon to be discontinued NI PCIe-6259 DAQs despite the fact that there are now many PCIe DAQs available on the market.

Does the xPC target support the PCIe boards now?

xPC Target has been replaced with Simulink Real-Time (R2014a), which is expressly designed for Speedgoat real-time target machines. Please contact MathWorks or Speedgoat for further information about supported hardware.
