how to send a text message

I am processing a big task,so my program takes long time to run,i want to send sms to my mobile after the program gets over,I tried many programs like send_text_message and sending sms through 3g modems,but sms is not sent,no errors but sms is not recieved,am in india,kindly help me

Have you tried sending an e-mail as an alternative? MATLAB can do that too.
