Syntax error in transition condition in stateflow

can anyone help? simulink is displaying a syntax error within transition condition. I dont see anything wrong with the syntax. I'm using Matlab 6.5

the transition condition logic resembles the below:

[
(...
%some logic here

(...
%some logic here

(xxxxx == yyyyy)...
]
{x = TRUE;
y = FALSE;
z = 5}
