how to find spatial quality measure sqm of reference 2D image and segmented 2D image?

I have a gray scale image, I segment an object from it using watershed, and I extract this object ideal size by Photoshop. I want to find the spatial quality measure of these two images (segmented image & reference image) where its equation is:

my problem is how to calculate the distances.
