What Matlab can do without toolbox

What matlab can do when toolbox does not include? Such as Can I call ga function in command line if I don't have optimization toolbox?

No, you need the global optimization toolbox.

If you execute a built in function that does require a specific toolbox which is not installed on your machine, it will simply error out as below:

"Undefined function or variable 'ga'."

MATLAB does not provide any workaround to that. You have to purchase the required toolbox.

You can simply execute below command to check all the toolboxes you have installed.
