error in saving and opening *.fig file

Dear all:

when i try to save *.fig file, the warning appears, ''undifined function or method 'graohics.datacuraormanager' for input arguments of type 'hg.figure'''. The worse thing is *.fig files even can't be opened. I restarted my PC but it doesn't work. Today,this problem first appeares. The version used is a student version, R2011a. Looking forward to your solutions.

Does the error message contain some typos?? Otherwise the SAVE function has been seriously corrupted and a re-installation of Matlab will be the safest solution.
