gpu memory cannot be released

Matlab 2021b version running on win 11, after using GPU computing, gpuDevice(1) and reset(gpuDevice(1)) cannot be used to release dedicated GPU memory.

This memory contains device binaries, i.e. program code, as well as workspace set aside for the CUDA libraries and not available for use by MATLAB. You can release some of it by deselecting the device (gpuDevice([])). The rest can only be made available to other processes by never loading the CUDA driver, which means avoiding selecting or using the device at all within a MATLAB session.
