how can i resolve this error???

if my e value is e = 0101000100001110010100100111111110101101111001101000010000000000 and

if i m going to rotate it right by 14 bits then r1 = bitror(e,14);

now this is showing an error as

??? Undefined function or method 'bitror' for input arguments of type 'char'.

Error in ==> round at 48 r1 = bitror(e,14);

can someone help me to resolve this error.

u can use bitshift.If so you need to set ASSUMEDTYPE refer http://www.mathworks.in/help/matlab/ref/bitshift.html#btig8kn-1
