Install a compiler to rum mex file

I have Matlab R2009a and installed Microsoft visual studio 2013 professional but still matlab give me an error that no compiler found. Is visual studio 2013 not compatible with my matlab version?, and which compiler is compatible with this version?

Hi Ahmed,

you will find the list here. R2009a did not know anything about VS 2013 ;-).

I guess your best bet will be to get hold on the VS 2008 Express Edition.
